Today was pretty much another very stressful day. I’m actually trying to learn Flash CS3 Essential with the help of a Lynda.com tutorial. These tutorials are very easy to follow. I found them very helpful in learning Adobe Dreamweaver, so hopefully I will have the same experience with Adobe Flash CS3. I searched for a Pre-designed Flash Website, but decided to attempt to create something all my own. I’ll let you know how it goes. These are some of my favorite images. I hope you enjoy!

God bless.
Okay, I’m serious about keeping my blog current. Thanks to all for the positive feedback. I have to tell you, I’m really psyched and anxious to rev up my photography business again. I am finally getting back in the game! I spent the entire weekend shooting with my new Nikon 70-200 mm 2.8 VR lens. My kids provided the sports action, and I shot away. I found the lens very sharp, but extremely heavy. A monopod is a must ( I didn’t have mine with me on this occasion). The ability to zoom was nice, but my prime lenses still have my heart. My 50 mm 1.4 still rocks.
Making A Play
Extreme Rock Wall Climbing (my mini-me. she is fearless!)
Alex, the only girl on her team (and I must say, the best player!)
The above photos were taken with my 70-200. These shots have been cropped.
Diane, Robin, Rachel, Sheila, Sheri & Sandy “my girls” – This is for you! I am very blessed to have you in my life. Thanks for listening to me whine and keeping me focused. Robin, (Best friend since kindergarten and awesome 2nd teacher), thanks for taking the road trip to Miami with me, just so I wouldn’t have to drive down alone. Friendship is a wonderful gift. There is no greater friend than Jesus Christ. He is always available and his love is insurmountable. I pray that I can be the friend you all deserve. I will always be here for you.
To all you teachers out there; please forgive my grammatical errors, and yes, I can take constructive criticism.
God Bless
I would like to offer the first words of my new blog to God. I give him praise and glory for all the blessings in my life. I know God is in control. It is when I try to take control, that energy is wasted. My prayer is that God guides my words to build-up and inspire. I also pray that God gives my children and I; a heart for the weak, for the poor and for the broken-hearted. With that said, I am very excited to finally take the time to share my thoughts and images with my clients and fellow photographers. I have wanted to start a blog and I realize that I am “behind the times”. I will make every effort keep my posts current.
I recently attended the Mike Colon and Bob Davis “Master Your Craft” Workshop in Miami, FL. I gained a ton of valuable information but more importantly, I met a great group of fellow photographers. I want to offer a special “shout-out” and thanks to Steve Buckler of Steve Buckler Photography & Design. He is an amazing photographer and very generous in sharing his knowledge and resources. I also want to thank Sergio w/Miami Photo Concepts for sending me a cool photo of ”me” shooting while in Miami.
